Chamber Music Camp

Our Chamber Music Camp will also be held online. The Bayberry String Quartet (formerly Phoenix Quartet with Gabe and Steffani Kitayama-Bolkosky, Laura Usiskin and Nurit Pacht) will be facilitating their newly developed PhoenixPhest Virtual (P2V) curriculum for chamber musicians. Traditionally, our chamber program has been reserved for advanced students. This year, we will be offering the virtual chamber program to any level student, 14 years of age or older.

We are very fortunate that our resident quartet, The Bayberry String Quartet has developed a very successful curriculum where students will be able to process, to rehearse, create and share chamber music virtually through a mix of synchronous and asynchronous work with their chamber groups. You’ll focus on technique and chamber music fundamentals while applying mindfulness principles for an inspiring and satisfying week! Read more about the P2V here.

Come with a quartet/ensemble or individually. Any level and experience welcome. The Bayberry String Quartet will view your video and place you in an ensemble if you don't have one. They will select music for each ensemble and send it to you prior to the music camp so you may familiarize yourself with your part.
