PPSI 2024 Highlights
Welcome to PPSI!
Peaks to Plains Suzuki Institute, an approved summer institute by the Suzuki Association of the Americas, is a special place. PPSI opened our musical doors in 1997; we are known as much for our warm, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere as for our world-renowned faculty and top-notch programming that spans all ages (infant - adult) and all levels.
Each summer, PPSI student musicians and their caregivers gather as a community to supplement their Suzuki music studies by working with renowned teachers from across the United States. Through masterclasses, ensembles, repertoire study, technique and enrichment classes, performances and parent education classes, students and caregivers are immersed in the benefits of the Suzuki Method. In addition, Advanced Program musicians have the opportunity to deepen their skills and continue becoming thoughtful, sensitive musicians and people. Additionally, PPSI believes in supporting teachers of all levels of experience by providing opportunities for them to further their own study through the observation of PPSI student classes as well as through the various Suzuki teacher training courses offered each summer.
